Psalm 85:2 King James Version (KJV)

Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

I know that sometimes it can feel really good to uncover a person. Especially when they have done everything within their power to bring you misery. It is even tougher when the person is so blantant as to tell you their intentions for your demise. Yet, today the word is "cover". God has been speaking it to me for some time now.

How do I cover a person like this? I'm glad you asked. You make the choice to; you make the choice to be the face of God in the earth. God covered every last one of our sins in the blood of Jesus. I'm not telling you to go along with a crime or something that would endanger you or others. Yet, what I am telling you is that the next time you could expose a co-worker, friend or spouse; that you decide to cover them in prayer first. Leave it in the hands of God. He has promised to vindicate you and our God keeps all of His promises. Trust Him. But also consider that perhaps this situation isn't about our God proving He's our vindicator, but proving that His love still lives in the hearts of men and women in the earth.
