Lacking Nothing

Psalm 23 NKJV
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For you are with me.
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

This morning I woke up and I was immediately led back to this scripture again.  Then came the words "Lacking Nothing".  Over and over again.  Then I was led to look up the word restore.

Restore - to bring back into existence, use or the like; reestablish; to restore order.  to bring back to a former, original condition, as a building, statue or painting.  to bring back to a state of health, soundness, or vigor.  to put back to a former place, or to a former position, rank, etc.  To give back; make return or restitution of (anything taken away or lost).  To reproduce or reconstruct (an ancient building, extinct animal, etc.) in the original state.

Several weeks ago I was very ill.  A very dear friend of mine when discovering I was sick reached out and she begun to pray for me.  Later that day she sent me these words from Psalm 23...

 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.......

Immediately, the Lord spoke to me and told me.... this is not a bad thing.  I thought I understood then what He meant.  But this morning when I woke I up and the words lacking nothing played over and over again in my spirit.  I began to declare with my words... "I lack nothing.... I lack nothing.... I lack nothing......  Then I began to declare... I lack nothing in peace, I lack nothing in love, My children lack nothing.. We lack nothing in our finances and on and on and on.......

Then the words "the restorer of my soul" seemed to be on repeat in my spirit. Then God spoke and said look up the word "restore".  So I did; and as I begun to read the definition, and before I could complete the formation of the question...."Restored to what state?"  God immediately took me to the word......

Before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you.....

In that time when we were known...before we were chosen to be placed in the wombs we were (we existed)... we lacked nothing.  God is saying to us today that He is restoring His children to the place we were and have always been.  He has restored our souls; their is nothing we lack.

I want to encourage you today, to believe the word of God like never before.  If it "appears" you lack anything... look again.  Whatever you need is near by.  Because our God is near and He has promised to restore us.  So perhaps today you must shift your perspective from a place of lack to a heart full of expectation.  For in this scripture He has advised that He has anointed us, that our cups run over.  This word speaks to restoration being a state that is unstoppable, even by our enemies.  Because He prepares our table in front of them. Not so we can brag or boast, but for His glory; so that all will know that He is our God and that He is great!

Do not worry about tomorrow, remain in this moment expecting to lack nothing!
