Leap for Love - Let It Go!

Matthew 6:14-15 New International Version (NIV)

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

The more I seek God the more He speaks about understanding what love is.  Not just talking about it and not just making it a challenge for a month, but allowing it to be come a lifestyle. To allow love to restore marriages and relationships. To allow love to bring unmerited forgiveness.

So many people keep score. So many have decide who is worthy of getting all of them. Many marriages end, although the two remain together until death, all because one or both involved decided to build a wall in their hearts. Because someone at some point decided to not forgive the other. The score keeping starts and it never ends. Today, I challenge you again to forgive your spouse. For as long as you hold on to the bitterness you will never see the abundant Life God planned for you before the beginning of time.

Marriage is the one thing that God compares His love for the church to. So you have to know that the covenant of marriage means something to God. But whether you're married or single consider this.....what if God was unforgiving? What if He kept score? What if He held your sin, even after you repented? What if we had to earn His love? We'd all be lost.

Just let it go. Whatever "it" is and let God use your heart to shine a light of love in the Earth; in your home, church and work place.
