The Breath of God

Genesis 2:7 NKJV

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

God placed His very own breath in our nostrils. The same breathe flowing through your lungs is that of our all Mighty God. Let that sink into your spirit. Truly sink in. 

It occured to me that this is the very reason why God could tell us that life and death is in the power of our tongues. There's nothing stronger and more powerful than the word of God. So when we speak the words He speaks, with His breath that He breathed into our lungs and do so believing that what we've spoken (our petitions/prayers) to be so (already in existence) then how can what we've declared go unanswered? Sound a bit far out? Well, we serve a far out kind of God. I mean think about it...He reached down to earth and formed us from dirt. The same dirt we walk on and sweep out of our homes. God made that dirt live. Surely He can respond to His own breath returning to Him in prayer and answer us from Heaven!  Oh what a mighty God we serve!
