When All You've Got Is A Word

Luke 5:5 

Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."

There are times when we are much like Simon in this verse.  We've done all we know how to do.  We've prayed and exerted all of our efforts.  Then in the moment that seems lost; God speaks and instructs us to do something that makes no sense at all.  I want to tell you that if all you have is a word from God that His word is all that you need!  Simon and the others had fished all night long with nothing to show for their efforts.  Yet, when Jesus spoke and they obeyed him, in a moment their situation turned around.  They went from no fish to calling other boats out to come and assist them with their catch because it was so large.  

This is not the time for you to give up.  Don't allow yourself to become afraid. I know that you've tried it before and it did not pan out the way in which you thought it would.  Nonetheless, step out on God's word and watch Him blow your mind with blessings!
