Choose the Abundant Life

John 10:10 NIV

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full [abundant].

Luke 10:19 NIV

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV

But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

God has given us everything.  I know you may be thinking... "I still have bills that need to be paid... or a situation that needs to be resolved".... I know what it's like to have a need. However, everything we need is in Christ. He has already secured eternal salvation for us.  He has given us power; spiritual power.. which trumps everything else.  He has promised to supply all of our needs, if we seek His kingdom first.  Everything we need is already ours.  Don't get hung up on the fact that things didn't go the way you planned.  If we're all honest... when we look back at the times in which we "thought" God failed us; we realize that He actual did us a great favor.  

For some this decision comes down to you making the decision that you're going to be obedient to God and walk in His calling for your life. For others it's giving up that habit He's been calling you to give up.  You're right, it's not a sin, but it's a weight.  Anything that will cause you to not be obedient to God is a weight that besets you.  Surrender today; choose the abundant life.
