The Apple of His Eye

 

Deuteronomy 32:10 ESV

"He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; he encircled him, he cared for him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. 

To be the apple of one's eye in essence means that you are favored.  Recently I began a bible study where the author presented a picture of the earth, the galaxy, the milky way and beyond.  I could go no further in the bible study as I began to consider how small I am in relation to the universe and all that God has created.  How in the grand scheme of things, we are all just these little specs.  Yet, God is mindful of us.  

The psalmast asked in Psalm 8 "...What is man that you are mindful of him.....".  God is mindful of you.  God is for you and with you as His child.  I want you to know today, that no matter how small you see yourself; you're a big deal to God and His view of you, is far greater than you have realized.  I invite you today to lean into God. To ask Him to show you what He sees in you.  He sees what He knows is there, because he placed it within you before the beginning of time.  Be bold today and ask that God not only show you what it is that HE has placed within you; but that He'll also give you the courage to be the you He designed.  God is crazy about you my dear.  He will answer you and He will strengthen you.
