The Wait

Isaiah 40:31 KJV

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Often when found in a tough or less than favorable situation, we as humans find it difficult to wait.  When we cannot see the shore, we begin to consider only what we can see.  Today, I want to challenge you to trust the God that you cannot see for the impossible situation that is before you.

You may have just thought; "that's easier said than done".  Or perhaps you are considering the years that have passed since God spoke a promise to you.  Considering it all, I still must ask... How is it that we cannot trust the God who created time, with the time He has created?  God literally created time for man.  So that we would know the days and times and seasons.  Time is not against us, but it serves us.

If we put our full trust in God; the one who not only told us to wait, but promised to strengthen us while we did, we may just find that this waiting period is not punishment, but a preparation period for us.  We may just find that it is God preparing us for the very thing He promised.
