As it Were

Genesis 3:11-13 NLT

"Who told you that you were naked?" the Lord God asked.  "Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?"  The man replied, "It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it."  Then the Lord God asked the woman, "What have you done?"  "The serpent deceived me," she replied.  "That's why I ate it. "

The other morning, I woke up to these words, "They were always naked, he (satan) changed their perspective."  Then it was clear to me that nothing at all had changed for Adam and Eve.  They were still in the Garden of Eden.  They had everything at their disposal.  The ground bought forth the dew, the plants, flowers, and vegetables.  God still met with them in the cool of the evening.  They still enjoyed each other’s company there in the most perfect place one could imagine.  Their position in the garden had not changed.  The way they viewed their situation is the only thing that shifted.

This is true for us today.  That thing you have been upset about all week, did not change your status in the kingdom as a joint heir with Christ.  It did not change God's word and it sure hasn't separated you from His love.  If your perspective has shifted, I would venture to say that there is a snake in your garden.  Run him out with the truth of God's word.  Do not allow the enemy of your soul to speak to your spirit.  Do not allow him to say one word to you, that you do not refute and refuse to come into agreement with.  

 If your attitude has shifted from gratefulness to complaining, check whose been in your ear.  Make the necessary adjustments and proceed to live your blessed life.
