He Came For You

 

John 10:10 NIV

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 

 

Today, I want to remind you that God came for you.  He came in the face of sin and death and snatched its power.  He came and destroyed the yokes of bondage, but He also came for you to have a blessed and full life.  So often we pray and believe without doubting for others, but not for ourselves.  I know that we are taught that thinking of ourselves is selfish.  Yet, I want to encourage you today to believe for God's blessings for your life as well.  He said that He came to give us all a full, blessed, abundant life.  It is not wrong for you to expect God to do for you what He has said He would.  As a matter of fact, that's faith and faith pleases God.  (Hebrews 11:6).  God delights in blessing His children and you are no exception.
