Take the Weight Off
I believe that we as humans often put weight on and carry burdens that were never meant for us to carry. God knew that we would continue to fall, make mistakes and flat-out sin. Yet, He came and shed His blood, one time for all sin: for all mankind.
The knowledge and understanding of God’s great love for us
and true reverence to Him, should cause us to want to please Him; to live out
His will for our lives. I also believe
that for most this is what takes place.
I believe that a true revelation of such a love changes your desires and
habits. Yet, in the off time we falter I
want to remind you that God’s grace is sufficient and that you are free from
the condemnation of your sin. Repentance
is required. Yet, God is not condemning
you. The spirit of God convicts us to
correction. But God’s heart towards us
is gracious, full of mercy and love.
Choose to see God as the loving Father He is. I believe that when we do so, we close the
door to the enemy and his condemnation.
For Jesus nailed condemnation to the cross on Calvary. Therefore, we are free and will not return to
the bondage (condemnation) of sin.
Romans
8:1 NIV
Therefore,
there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
