What's in Your Heart?

Psalm 8:4-9

What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?  Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.  You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.  O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

 

It has always been in the heart of God to save us, to love us, heal us and to provide for us.  It has always been in His heart to have a relationship with us.  It has always been the heart of God to do good towards us; His created.  God owes us nothing, yet He has given unto us everything. 

God like a lover; the lover that He is, has pursued us; a created thing.  How could you love mere dirt so much?  Who cares for someone like this? The answer is God. So, today I tell you that in spite of what you may have done or are considering the acts of; God loves you.  He is standing with opened arms just waiting to receive you.  Do not let the knowledge that He knows your very acts cause you to run away from Him and the life that He has prepared for you.  Let, this knowledge cause you to run into His arms, because “it” did not change His mind about you.  With all we have done as mankind, God still stands ready to receive us.  That is true love; God is love.  This love that God has for us will never change, neither end with time nor events.  God’s love is everlasting.
