Ask God Why

Ask God Why

I know this sounds strange, right?  Some of us were raised in the era that you did not ask why; you just did what you were told.  And no one dared to ask God why.  To even speak of doing so would get you dirty looks.  But today, I will tell you that there is beauty in asking God why. 

The fact that you are able to do so, speaks to relationship.    In a recent study of Job, this is what stood out to me the most.  Not that he lost and recovered double in the end.  Or that God corrected his friends who misjudged him.  But that Job had such a relationship with God, that he took is arguments, feelings and thoughts to the only one that He deemed worthy and able to answer them. 

Where are you taking your questions?  To whom are you expecting to speak on your behalf?  Consider God today.  He will not ignore you.  Nor will He be angry with you.  Our God desires a relationship with each of us.  You may not always like His response.  But I will tell you that it will work out for your good.
