Faith to be obedient

Faith is believing for something that has not yet materialized.  It is often a requirement to obedience.  There will be times that God will ask us to do something easy. Then there are times when God is going to ask us to do something that has never been done before.  In these times, obedience is not so easy. 

We may be called to be the first one in our families or communities to see the hand of God move in a certain area.  How then do we find the courage to move forward?  It starts with faith.  In Joshua 6:2 The Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.” When God instructed Joshua to see, God was in essence telling Joshua to have faith.  He was telling Joshua, to see it based on my word and not on your sight. 

This is my prayer for you today. That you will believe what God has said to you and not what your physical eyes can see.  I pray that you will have the faith to believe God and to obediently walk out His instructions.
