Free Your Mind

I have come to believe that freedom is a state of mind.  No, I haven’t gone off the deep end.  The word tells us in John 8:32…. “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”  Knowledge is power.  And where are things stored that we know??? Yep, in our minds. 

So, what does this mean?  I believe that when we can truly embrace the truth (i.e., that God loves us forever, that our sins are truly forgiven, that God will never leave nor forsake us, that all of our needs are already met, etc.) that our mindset shifts from one of desperation and deficit, to one of acceptance, love and abundance.

I encourage you today to examine the way you see freedom.  Jesus paid for our freedom years ago.  So, if HE did this (and HE did) then that means that we are free (indeed). So, if you are free, but you don’t think you are.  It doesn’t change the status of your freedom.  But it does change the status of your life (how you live it).  It’s time for you to live free.  Embrace truth!
