Determination

Determination is often defined as grit.  That place in you where you draw that extra from.  How do we get it and hold on to it throughout the entire process as God perfects us (makes us who HE created us to be)?  We set our minds to it. 

We have to be resolute in our minds and waiver not in our conviction.  We must believe wholeheartedly  that who God called us to be is worth any and every thing we have to walk through and deal with to become that version of ourselves that God saw when Jesus came to rescue us from our sins.

I know firsthand that this is not always easy.  For most of us, God has called us out.  HE’s called us to be different and to change the trajectory of our entire bloodline.  We go in knowing that there is going to be a fight. The enemy of our souls never just gives up territory, we have to possess the land.

I know that it may look bleak right now and I know that you are tempted to give up from time to time. But trust me when I tell you that this is the time for you to steady your mind; to fix your gaze on God and to stand on HIS word.  God’s word is always enough.  It will always sustain you…. It will never return to God void, because He watches over HIS word to perform it.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
