Don’t talk about it, BE about it!

I remember hearing those words before an altercation broke out in school.  Or when someone was challenging someone else to follow through on a commitment. 

For some time, I had this book on which I was working.  Well, at least that was my story.  Until God showed me that I spent more time talking about writing the book than I spent actually writing the book.  For some reason I was stumped.  I had the words, (God was downloading the info to me), but I could not seem to get past this point.  It was not a physical point, but a spiritual one. 

There was opposition that I needed to face head on and the only way to overcome it was to BE about it.  I could say that I was an author, because I have been published. But I could no longer label myself as a writer, because.. well, I was not writing.

What are you allowing to stand in between you and your goals?  Maybe the scripture below will serve as motivation to BE about your Father’s [GOD’s] business.

Deuteronomy 28:8 NKJV

The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
